Invisible Ones

Invisible Ones, Traditional Hanging Art
Invisible Ones
Acrylic on stretched canvas. The piece began as a way to bring attention to the plight of the homeless population. They are the invisible ones. People feel uncomfortable around them. We avoid their eyes as if we can make them disappear. Each piece shows people with blank faces while the homeless lay in detail at their feet.

Traditional Hanging Art (Acrylic)    24 x 18 x 0.5    $500.00    5

Relationship to marginalized people:
The homeless exist on the outskirts of society. Anti-homeless tactics prevent them from sitting on benches or laying on gates to keep warm during the winter. They are marginalized to make society comfortable.
