Relationship to marginalized people:
I am half Korean and half white descent. During my fundamental years it was hard to fit in. My white family said it was fortunate that I looked more white, marginalizing the Asian half of my being. The Korean community of Chicago wanted nothing to do with me due with me, marginalizing the white half of my being. Not fitting into one group of people in such a tribal society did marginalize me, but it also served as inspiration to become an artist.
